Project "Floristik global" assigned

The FLP-project “Floristic global” has been assigned as official project of the UN-Decade Education for Sustainable Development. The award ceremony will take place at the education fair “Didacta” in Hannover on 11 of February of 2009. The international initiative under guidance of UNESCO wants to contribute to embed the principles of sustainable development in the national education systems worldwide.

 

“Floristic global” aims to inform participants of flower trade about the conditions of global flower production and sustainable alternatives. It contains not only a brochure with didactic hints for school teachers but also participative presentations at (vocational) schools. Within the Fair week in Bonn a workshop with FLP-flowers took place. Floristic students of the association VESBE explained visitors how to make a bouquet. Furthermore we arranged training courses for florists and agenda offices. For rebate of travel costs and a small presentation allowance we are glad to visit you, too!
